I am filled with hope for the future.
I can finally see where my story is going.
Where I think it was always meant to go.
For a moment I almost forgot who I was.
What I was supposed to do.
How everything was supposed to feel.
Like a thrift store chandelier I've been brushed off
and brought back to life. Given a second chance.
I will find those tears of laughter
and I will let my heart overflow with love.
I am going to see the light again.
Be embraced by familiar surroundings.
Feel that special breeze gently touch my face.
Take deep breaths of the clean crisp air.
I am finally going home.
