Spring Green Front Page

I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I logged on to Etsy. I had a nice convo from Carolyn (AutumnsLeavesJewelery) letting me know I was on the front page! Great way to start of the weekend! It was my new Enameled Spring Ring that was lucky to get to the front page. I am also planning to to do studs and other earrings with enamel. I just love to watch the enamel melt and fuse with the metal surface.

Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair

So I applied for the Brooklyn Renegade craft fair together with amaamo from Etsy. She has a shop with wonderful t-shirts like the one on the photo. If we get accepted we will be sharing a 10x10 sq ft space. It will be my first craft fair and I am so excited (and nervous). So much to plan for! I have already talked to David about making me some fabulous wooden jewelry displays. I will have to keep you posted on that. In april we'll find out if we made it or not, so keep your fingers crossed!

Modern Black Mini Bud Studs

I decided to give my mini bud studs and update an oxidized them almost black. I love how they turned out. I have two piercing in one ear and three in the other so sometimes it's nice to have matching studs in all of them. I also listed them in my Etsy shop.

My Little Craft haven

So this is what my studio looks like. I was lucky enough to snag (thank you lovely boyfriend) our guest bedroom and turn it into my craft haven. I am always trying to get better at organizing things and make it more functional.

This is my tiny space for torch enamel. You don't need much space to do enameling though. This works great for what I do. I would love to have a better exhaust fan, than a table fan and an open window.... But for now it works. My wonderful boyfriend also just built me a teak (I know, very fancy) stand for all my enamels so that is going onto the desk shortly.

Do I need to say more? Look at that awesome flex shaft hanger David (boyfriend) made! I can fold it flat against the bookcase if I want it out of the way...

Now we just need to convince him to open a Shop on Etsy and sell them.. Davids favorite saying is something like this:

If you are making something, make sure it's functional. And if you've made something functional don't hesitate to make it beautiful.

This is where the magic happens.. Or the blood sweat and tears.... Usually it looks like butt here but I cleaned it up for you!

 David also set this shipping desk up for me! I got a great workspace and storage with a cheap countertop from IKEA and some Antonius storage bins. It's super efficient to have it all on one place.  This is also where I waste a bunch of time lurking around Etsy's forums...

Mini Bud Studs makes it Big Time!

I am almost a bit scared to post this, but thanks to the lovely  EllaJeanGifts I made it to the front page of Etsy again. My Mini Bud Studs was featured together with an collection of beautiful shades of blue and teal! I feel truly blessed to have gotten such great exposure. Thank you Robin!

A very Round front page!

I am really loving this new front page idea... I got a second one today. Isn't that crazy? I tagged my little woodworm studs with ROUND and voila, there they are on Etsy's frontpage!

Or should I say passion? Admin has recently started to promote the different search ways on Etsy. Some frontpages has been done by using the timemachine or pounce. But the majority has been made using different search words. So in the month of Valentine I made it to the front page on February 6th cause I had tagged my little red earrings with PASSION!
