it's in the air

I thought I could smell spring in the air.

I was right!

Tiny flowers everywhere in our yard.

When I lived in Atlanta my favorite place to
eat breakfast was Sun in my Belly.

Who wouldn't like a place called Sun in my belly?

I would order the same thing every time.
Vanilla yogurt pairfait with granola and fresh berries.
Yes it's just as scrumptious as it sounds.
This Saturday I made my own version of it.
Nope it wasn't as good as theirs. But it was good enough :o)

Then I goofed around a bit.
I like his beak.
Can you see it?

And I played around with some new concepts.
We'll see where it eventually lands.
But this is what it looks like right now.
My concepts have a tendency to evolve quicker than I can keep up with...

I thought about making some earrings for myself.
Maybe for the wedding.
Not sure yet.. Hmm.
I have to start working on that crown first and then
I have a feeling it will all fall in place...

Oh and the dress fitting on Friday went great!
It was even more AMAZING than I remembered it to be!
And yes I wanted to keep it on forever :o)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I feel like I blinked and it was gone...

  4. Sun in my belly is the most gorgeous little café/restaurant you'll ever see. It's so cute. Ahhh I really miss that place.

Jo it is a bird! Kind of quirky but I just couldn't stop seeing that beak in the stone LOL

I love snöklockor! I think they're called snödroppar in swedish though. Sure sign of spring! There better be no more snow coming now!

I treasure your words and the fact that you are
taking the time to share them with me.
Please forgive me if I don't respond personally to you.
I always try but sometimes time just flies away!
