across the ocean

It's scary what is happening in the world today.
I watch the news as my heart is breaking.
I wonder if there will even be a world for my unborn children to live in...

I look around me and feel so grateful for what I have.
My health.
My loved ones.
A home to live in.

My thoughts goes out to the people of Japan.
I can't stop thinking of them.
Wondering what they are going through.
I won't pretend I can even imagine.
In a way we live such sheltered lives.
Safe and so incredible lucky.

I send my love across the ocean.
Hoping that they know we are all thinking of them,
praying for a happy ending.

  1. Yes, it's a time to reflect and take a moment to realize that we are all very lucky to have what we do in our own personal ways!--GRATITUDE
Also that the very same can happen here in the states and just be aware and be as prepared as possible! Keep making amazing art!!

I treasure your words and the fact that you are
taking the time to share them with me.
Please forgive me if I don't respond personally to you.
I always try but sometimes time just flies away!
